We are looking for an Accounts Payable Processor to work with a team to ensure that invoices are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with contract or purchase orders

About the Job:
This position will have interactions with Employees, Vendors, Other Departments on-site, Other Departments off site (mine locations), Other Clients Entities, and third party Business Service Provider (Infosys)

  • Ensure all incoming Account Payable invoices to be verified and processed correctly, accurately and in timely manner.
  • Ensure invoice coding, approvals and amounts are accurate and in accordance with policy and procedures. Take corrective action if required.
  • Ensure that problems are promptly dealt with by responding to queries from Vendors, PTP Specialist, employees and management. Maintain clear and open communication with key stakeholders.
  • Reconcile Vendor’s statements of account and deliver accurate information to Vendor regarding status of their invoices.
  • Review and investigate Blocked invoices
  • Comply with all Newmont Australia Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Requirments:

  • Experience in Australian accounts payable administration
  • Sound knowledge of ERP system (SAP)
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Advanced PC skills and computer literacy with respect to MS Office Suite Products
