Entry level into mining and possible FIFO opportunities
The company
Evolve Talent is seeking Entry Level SAMPLE PREPERATION OPERATORS to fulfill employment for a range of reputable clients who specialises in Geoanalytical testing, Mineral processing and Mineralogy.
The job
A trainee position for Sample preparation position would be located in a warehouse environment. Duties will include lifting samples (15kg) of rock and ground onto a conveyor, drying, weighing, crushing, dividing and pulverising of submitted samples. You will have the opportunity to be trained on the robotic operations in the processing department.
Requirements:
- These positions are located South of the river, Canning Vale, Perth
- Valid WA drivers’ licence and transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & Drug and Alcohol test
- Physical ability to carry out manual tasks, lifting 15 kg bags and stand on your feet all day
- Previous experience working within a hot and dusty environment would be advantageous
- Attention to detail as this role requires you to submit all processed samples in the correct order
- Operating Robotics in the processing department
- Willingness to learn and work experience within a fast-paced environment
