Our client who is a leading business in the manufacturing sector located in the South-eastern suburbs of Melbourne is exclusively partnering with Evolve Manufacturing in its search for a Maintenance Engineer.
 
The Maintenance Engineer will play a critical role in the implementation of CMMS (MEX) and establishment of a preventative maintenance and spare parts system to maximise mobile plant uptime and maintain facilities.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Maintenance of mobile plant and all facilities (Offices)
• Management of mechanical/electrical/diesel automotive trades.
• Spare parts risk assessment reviews and ordering.
• Plan, manage and clearly communicate schedule for regular minor and major mobile plant servicing.
• Communicate key learnings of activities and analysis with key stakeholders.
• Overseeing and liaising with site resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the safe and successful execution of activities.
• Comply with the relevant Integrated Management System (IMS for Quality, OHS and Environment or ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 respectively) policies and procedures.

Required Skills and experience:

• Mechanical, Electrical and Mobile Plant knowledge
• Reasonable knowledge and understanding of technical drawings.
• Experience working on small-medium capital projects.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to influence across all levels of the business.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Graduate Engineer (0-3 years’ experience) any industry
• Project-based experience in a mechanical/heavy maintenance/planning highly regarded.

• Victorian driver’s license
• Right to work in Australia
• Police check and pre-employment medical (to be completed during recruitment process)
